So in early 2017 I was put on rapiril 1.25mg X 2 to control HBP and angina, this was later increased to 2.5mg X 2 as the angina symptoms did not fully subside.

(I have attached most if not all the comments from cardiologist and test results.)

I had previously gone to the GP and hospital investigations done with angina type symptoms but was told "you’re fine". I had a CT scan in 2011 which "showed no calcium and no plaque in the 3 arteries".

So, fast forward to 2017 and I’ve had a calcium score in april and again april 2019, both showed no calcium, but with some atheroma.

I was told I had a enlarged aorta (4.2cm) which was probably due to HBP.I have since 2 ultrasounds, both show no enlargement.

On 2 occasions, once in april 2019 and again about 2 weeks ago, I ended up in Casualty dept where,I first started to sweat, and then started to have chest pain, this ceased when I used GTN spray. (In april I had been getting chest pains earlier during the day,but not when I started to sweat.)Both events occured in the mornings.

This as you can imagine, has caused me a lot of anxiety.I’m wondering if I didn’t have the GTN spray to hand, would I have had a heart attack.
Needless to say, After all the tests were done at the Casualty dept I was given the all clear and sent back home.
In July 2019, I also had a MRI of the heart with an injection to speed up the heart, and have been told that was fine. I’m unable to get the results as its quite difficult here in the UK unless the doctors authorise it.
I have also had a carotid artery ultrasound which showed they were clear;but I’ve had aches on the side of the neck intermittently.
I’m wheat free, and follow a hflc diet, and do IF regularly.

So my questions are, considering I’ve had 0 calcium score 3 times, and only minor atheroma, tests done at 3 different places BTW, why I’, getting these episodes; and would it have progressed to a heart attack if I hadn’t used the GTN spray?

All replies welcome, and thanks in advance.

Those are HDL 60 mg/dL & TG 85 mg/dL in colonial units.
We were forced into metric use by Europe, and look what happened !!

I’m hypothyroid; I start losing my hair with TSH in the 4’s.  I take NP Thyroid and TSH is 1.5 now.  I feel a lot better when thyroid hormones are normal, including grow back lost hair.
