As I mentioned elsewhere on the forum, I’m coming from a keto/low-carb diet and trying to build my microbiome. 
I’ve got all Undoctored supplements (Mg, Omega3s, D3, Iodine) sorted out for now.  I started out taking the LRuterii yogurt a few weeks ago, and a week after that started probiotics (Renew Life, the 50B CFU version.)  I’m cleaning up diet, more strict on the added sugar and weeding out remaining grains.  I had previously avoided wheat as I know it causes me problems.  (I’m going to miss sushi, a rare treat I allowed myself on keto.)

This week I started adding inulin and have been taking 5g without issue the last few days.  I’m honestly surprised that I didn’t react to the inulin.  I’m going to proceed with starting smoothies next week and adding small amounts of raw potato.  If that goes well, I’ll be nearing the end of 4 weeks of probiotics.  I had been bracing myself for shelling out the money for the herbal antibiotic course. 

Previously I had a lot of bloating, that’s gone down slowly and steadily.  General GI distress seems better.  My anxiety isn’t yet under 100% control but I have some other ideas on what I can add for that if my GI system seems up to par.

If I finish up probiotics and symptoms return, should I go for another round of probiotics?  If so, same brand/product or do I change it up?  Also, if I need another round of probiotics, should I drop the prebiotics and re-start?  I want to be sure I’m feeding the right bugs.?

I think I’m actually looking forward to doing blood work this year, I’m curious how the numbers will look.

If it were me, I’d say that loose stool would be most related to not taking enough probiotics for the amount of magnesium. One consideration might be to raise the 50 billion Renew Life to 100 billion.
