I've recently started on Vitamin K2. I suffer from varicose veins in my legs with the right leg much worse than the left. One vein in particular is very bad but they don't bother me. After about a week of taking the Vitamin K I have developed clotting in this vein. Now it is a surface vein so it is not a DVT and I have had clotting in this vein before. It manifests itself by being very sore and you can feel where the clotting is worse. In the past doctors have not been concerned and have put me on aspirin which I am taking now. My question is, could the Vitamin K2 have caused this? It does seem to be worse than I have had before. I have stopped the K 2 in the meantime. Is it a coincidence or a cause. Bubba

I would look into MSM and vitamin C.

http://www.cancertutor.com/msm-article/

Make sure it has the OptiMSM label on it; Jarrow and Doctor's has.

Pat, what is the ideal dose of the different Vitamin K's to make a difference. I read on your website "My Story" that initially the amount you were taking was too low to really make a difference. Thanks!

Al:)
