in the raw form:

K1 is used in the brain and converted to MK-4

MK-7 is basically organ related

MK-4 is bone

now, the body can do amazing things with just one of these

I"ve also had a huge surge in Ldl after increasing my K dosage. The only other changes i have made are liposomal glutathione and MCP + Alginate.

Annexin binds to the phosphatidyserine thus making it ineffective thus taking away the heart benefits of the phosphat. - - - remember it is the Annexin VI is the bad actor.

Moving into the adrenals.  As usual, ptheut you have a knack for creating the perfect single phrase.

Cortisol...You want a bump, not a steady dose.  Yes.  Rise to the stress then relax.

to david:  quite to the contrary - - when you saturate your system with K - - your LDL is protected.

remember, it is not the level of LDL but the size and what it is carrying or not carrying

all the best

My experience is that fish oil knocked my TG down more than low-carbing, although both worked. But both together is best.

What would be the point of adding 15 mg MK-4 if undercarboxylated osteocalcin was already near the lowest score? Without knowing current ucOC, and then retesting it later, how will you know whether adding 15 mg MK-4 makes a difference?

Hopscotch. Yep you are right. I did ucOC after taking 1 mg K1 1 mg MK-4 90 mcg MK-7. But didn't retest after going to current configuration of K. So I will retest in the next week. Thanks, George

Oh, good. So after your first ucOC, for 3 months you added another 1 mg K1 and 910 mcg MK-7 to your original dosing. I'm very interested to know what change in ucOC this caused. :)

Chickadee why don't you publish the summary of the K thread that you have made for your doctor. You can look at the Wiki and see if there is a K summary there. You can post your K summary here and in the Wiki.

Thank you for sharing this. I learn more and more with each test I see. So much to grasp. Will you be working to lower the TSH?

I'd comment but....your results won/t post for me.
Because of your incomplete thyroid results...only did TSH which was high, I hesitate to comment on any lipoprotein paramater.

Stuart you are spot on.

That is the problem with 3/4 and 4/4 - - - their body clears K faster than the other types, thus need more K - - - its that simple
