Posted: 9/10/2010 8:58:27 AM   I know that you take your DHA/EPA with milk because of your personal experience of beneficial tg lowering.  It makes sense to me that fat is better absorbed with fat,  So, for example, Vitamin C should be bought in powder or pill form and taken with water.  On the other had Omega 3, Vit E, Vit K, Vit D,Co Q 10 should be provided in a softgel containing oil and should be consumed with oil for better absorbtion. I was just wondering what part of the milk seems to do the trick.  My guess is that it is the fat, specifically the saturated fat content,  Is this correct?  Any related literature you can site? My preference might be coconut milk.  I like the fact that saturated fats are the most unlikely to oxidize.  I am unaware of differences in absorption between sat/unsat fats, but I bet they exist.   Please enlighten me.
