Posted: 3/13/2026 3:01:30 AM   This one is more of an announcement. I’ve been suffering now for a long time with digestive issues that are absolutely devastating my life and overshadowing everything. I think it is a result of being an obese child fed too much sugar (despite being slim now), a few childhood food poisonings, caesarian delivered, fed tons of antibiotics (I feel like I’ve done a long course of all of them, gotta try em all 😅) for acne as well as roaccutane which was an evil medicine. I had near total constipation sometimes being 2-3 weeks between bowel movements. I’ve treated SIBO a few times (2 herbal courses including 1 month Candibactin AR+BR and a week of rifaximin plus metronidazole), I still have a big mixed CH4 and H2 response to an inulin challenge but it’s many hours post intake and I am regular daily now with bowels even though I am still gassy. I’ve tried the SIBO yogurt too but can’t tolerate it and although I get a short boost to health (particularly mental) when starting prebiotic fibres progress usually stalls quickly. I struggle to eat enough as is and being intolerant to prebiotic still with likely massive dysbiosis still I’ve been reluctant to start the high fat no grains but I’ve been gluten free for a while. I’m therefore pulling in my head the nuclear option of a new microbiome through FMT which I am doing next week, it will be 7 implants in total. I am excited but trying to not get my hopes up too much in case it is another dead end, but hopefully not 🤞 Tags: Fecal Microbial Transfer (FMT)
