Off-line, I was asked for an opinion on this new (2025) digestive enzyme product. They are making all sorts of claims on how it allows you to eat😱wheat and avoid all the benefits of FODMAPs.🙄
The parent entity of F⬡DZYME is Kiwi Bi⬡sciences (2020), perhaps unsurprisingly with a Harvard⚠connection.
From their site, the key things to know:
“FODZYME® contains three active enzymes: Fructan hydrolase - breaks down fructans from garlic, onions, wheat, and etc., Alpha-galactosidase - targets galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS) in beans, legumes, and etc., and Lactase - helps digest lactose from dairy”
