Starter cultures from
Edge Cultures makes fermentation easy: fermented vegetables such as
sauerkraut or pickles, kefir, sparkling water, or yogurt, you know how long
to ferment and which microbes you will obtain when you start with one of the
starter cultures from Cutting Edge Cultures. While you can ferment many
foods such as vegetables by allowing microbes naturally resident on the
surface to ferment, adding a defined starter culture, such as those provided
