I had thyroid blood work done and would like some help with the interpretation, please. It looks like everything other than the TSH is out of target range. I have an appointment with my PCP next week, so any advice on what I should ask him is appreciated.
60 year old female
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s in the 1980’s, and have been on synthroid or levothyroxine in various doses ever since.
Currently on 125 mcg levothyroxine.
I am on several other meds for other issues. I can list those if needed.
I have always felt warm, but lately I am cold most of the time. I can’t put an exact date on the change, but its within the last three months. I have been having acupuncture for the last year, and one of the things she was working on was correcting body temperature.
My morning temperatures run between 96.2 F and 97.6 F
Started WB Feb 11, 2020, lost 32 pounds so far. Need to lose about 60 more.
Taking Vit D, Magnesium and fish oil in recommended doses.
I tried iodine, but 50 mcg caused insomnia for two days. (1 drop of AllVia brand, where 3 drops = 150 mcg) This is what prompted me to have the labs done.
I did not take the levo on the day of testing. Drawn at 10 am
