My results of my first 6 mos.

Jan 1, 2020-June 30, 2020

When I started, I was already grain free so I did not have a rocky start with withdrawal.

Abstained from alcohol because I wanted to reduce organ/ liver fat and give my body the best  odds with the program.

Jan 1 Weight 191.5 Body fat 18.5%,  I carried fat in gut area

June 1 Weight 166  11.5% body fat.  25.5 lb reduction.   Stomach greatly reduced.

Dr. ended  my blood pressure meds , consistently in normal range now  115/75 avg.

Transitioned to Natural desiccated thyroid, Working on t3 free and getting TSH in program range, last test TSH was too low on synthroid.

Sleep is greatly improved, started training to eliminate mouth breathing.   Now thinking  I can reach my goal of eliminating c-pap that I use for obstructive sleep apnea

12 percent increase in HDL last test.    Will test again in July,  Cardiologist is working with me but he is concerned that I have Familial Hypercholesterolemia.    My markers of inflamation are great and trigs are diving in the 60-80 range and I expect them to get very good in the next test that will be NMR.

Did one round of sibo for two weeks.    It came back with a vengeance.    Did a second round for 4 weeks, stay tuned. so far so good.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for asking.    I want to incorporate lp(a) and ApoE genotype testing when I do my NMR this month.    Thanks for digging up that thread!!

Terrific progress, Dave!

Have you had a coronary artery calcium score?
