After some testing at Boston Scientfic - I apparently am confirmed to have lipoprotein(a)

Also have had a few poor scores on the heart scan during 2015-2017......199 first time 240 the second and maybe a third score that I cannot remember

....ended up having a cardiac cath in late 2018. They said I had approximately 30% blockage in my LAD at that time.

I take 5mg Rosuvastatin and Ezetimibe 10mg --- both daily.

My doctors seem to be clueless. They give me no way to be proactive......but rather seem to be waiting until the problem is bad enough to justify western medicine intervention.

I am new to the website - rejoined recently from long ago.

Any direction here on where I should start, what videos to watch? How do I become educated and become my own advocate.

Just need a track to run on......just need to know where to start.

Much appreciate any feedback.

Hello Fitness,

What do you mean by "High Producer, High Absorber trait"? I also have elevated LP(a),
CAC score and the rest.....

for me 6 grams a day.  best to do divided doses if Lp(a) is high.  so, 4 grams every 4 hours aka 12 grams a day or so
