I just made my first batch of l’ reuteri yogurt, I am using the Luvele Pure Plus yogurt maker:
I followed Dr. Davis’s written instructions. When I removed the container after the 36 hr fermenting period,  I noticed that the content was separated with liquid at the bottom. I took the covered container and put it in the fridge over night. The next morning, the content separation was still there, so  I stirred the yogurt before eating it. The yogurt is soupy and has small lumps in it.  Nothing like the smooth/standing on a plate yogurt that Dr Davis talked about. I must have done something wrong.  Any tips/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yes, like Bob, we found the second batch to be thick with little if any whey .   The first batch was just like yours.

What prebiotic do you take while eating  L. Reuteri yogurt? Do you know anything about the Prebiothrive product that Dr Gundry sells?

Apologize for asking all these questions, after eating the L. Reuteri yogurt would it be wise to not drink any hot liquids for certain period of time after? Just wondering, since this bacteria is very temperature sensitive.

I buy pasteurized half and half, so I don’t. But if you’re not using a pasteurized or sterilized product, that would be a good idea.
