Welcome Guest, Give the Gift of Health to Your Loved Ones
In the beginning (here) I used Carlson’s liquid. But it’s messy - the oily bottle in the fridge, spooning it out every day - and it’s not cheap.
I then tried a few and researched a lot of the gelcap types. My last one was Carlson’s Super Omega-3. It gives me occasional mild fish burps and I suspect "fishbreath" because a few times someone has backed away when I was talking to them. I maintain a very clean mouth and have no dental disease.
So looking for a replacement for the Carlson’s, I started comparing what you get per gelcap.
Carlson’s Super Omega-3 (2 gelcaps) Sports Research Triple Strength Omega 3 (2 gelcaps)
EPA 600 mg EPA 1380 mg
DHA 400 mg DHA 520 mg
total 1000 mg 1900 mg
These numbers are for EPA+DHA only, not total fish oil. That’s almost double the total EPA+DHA.
I’m going back to Sports Research. I ventured away because they are not inexpensive. All contact I’ve had with them resulted in prompt, professional responses. And without my own lab, I gotta trust somebody.
