I understand Vitamin K1 and K2 play different roles but I am still "freake out" about taking any form of Vitamin K with the knowledge that it is used to reverse the effects of Coumadin.  If coumadin prevents thrombosis by blocking Vitamin K in production of clotting factors, then can excess Vitamin K result in overproduction of clotting factors and increase risk of thrombosis ie heart attack, stroke etc.

Is there a need to supplement vitamin K for someone that takes a little bit of cheese and plenty of egg yolks every day?
