In Dr. Davis’ protocol for joint and arthritis, he mentions exercise to strengthen the muscles around the joint.  For the knee, it would be leg extensions, leg curls and calf raises.

My right knee is still a little sore and slightly swollen after eating some wheat product over a week ago.  I’m worried that attempting leg extensions and leg curls could make it worse because with those machines I feel the pressure most at the joint.  Has anyone else attempted exercises with swollen sore knees, what did you do?  Or do I need to wait until all the swelling goes down?

How about stationary bike at different intensities?

I don’t do swimming because it isn’t practical for me right now.

Thanks !
Virginia

No, exercising with active inflammation is not a good idea, Mcd.

Are you consuming the L reuteri yogurt with its healing-accelerating effects?
