Posted: 6/12/2018 3:46:19 PM   I would be interested to hear about the experiences of anyone in this forum who has or is using, or has researched the use of  low dose Rapamycin Therapy in their health and longevity regime.  Apparently  rapamycin  triggers the same genetic switches activated by calorie restrictions and positively impacts the mTOR pathways associated with longer healthspans.    In researching this topic, I have come across a  Dr Alan Green’s website,  rapamycintherapy.com  There he talks about the robust evidence showing  the major role that  elevated mTOR1 has on  a number of disease including atherosclerosis and  Alzheimer’s (especially for this those of us carrying an APOE e4 gene) and that intermittent low doses of Rapamycin may prevent or ameliorate these diseases  process.  His antidotal personal experience is interesting and wondering if anyone on this forum has come across or worked with him?   Tags:
