HISTORY: Radiculopathy, lumbar region \E|E\ M5416 TECHNIQUE: Multiplanar multisequence MR images were performed. No intravenous contrast material administered. COMPARISON: None FINDINGS: The vertebral body heights are preserved. There is normal alignment and marrow signal. There is L2-L5 disc desiccation with mild L2-L3 disc space narrowing. The conus terminates at L1-L2. At L1-L2, there is facet arthropathy without significant stenosis. At L2-L3, there is facet arthropathy and disc bulge with posterior annular tear. There is moderate central canal stenosis and moderate right and mild left foraminal stenosis. At L3-L4, there is facet arthropathy and disc bulge. There is a subtle broad-based disc protrusion at the level of the left neuroforamen. There is mild bilateral foraminal stenosis. No central canal stenosis At L4-L5, there is facet arthropathy and disc bulge. There is effacement of the anterior thecal sac. There is no definite stenosis. At L5-S1, there is facet arthropathy without stenosis. IMPRESSION: 1. Multilevel lumbar degenerative disc disease and facet arthropathy. 2. Moderate L2-L3 central canal stenosis 3. Mild to moderate L2-L3 and L3-L4 foraminal stenosis
