Posted: 8/22/2017 8:05:43 PM   To All: At the request of several Members who regularly engage in Inner Circle Virtual Meetups I am introducing a prototype Meetups Scheduling function found at the bottom of the Virtual Meetups page.  Feel free to test it and comment in this thread. There are two sections in the scheduler. I. List of Scheduled Meetups The list displays all Meetups starting from "today" and going forward.  Meetups are sorted by start time and fall off the list 1 day after their scheduled start time and display the following data: 1. The Inner Circle Nickname of the Member that scheduled the Meetup. 2. The topic of the Meetup. 3. The scheduled start time of the Meetup.  Note that the start time will show the time zone of the host.  The start time for each attendee needs to be adjusted based on the time difference between the time zone of the host and the attendee. 4. Each scheduled Meetup for which you are the host will show three buttons.     a. Start: Click this button to start the Meetup     b. Edit: Click this button to edit an existing scheduled Meetup     c. Delete: Click this button to delete an existing Meetup. 5. There is a green "toggle button" which will toggle the list display to show either all scheduled Meetups or only Meetups scheduled by you II. Add/Edit a Scheduled Meetups As its name implies, this function allows Members to add and edit scheduled Meetups. 1. Add a Scheduled Meetup To add a meetup enter the following fields: a. Topic (required, 100 characters max). b. Start Date (required, click the Calendar Popup to select a date). c. Start Time (required, use "hh:mm AM/PM" format) d. Time Zone (required, select a time zone from the dropdown list). e. Notes (optional, 255 characters max). After making the required entries click the green "Add the New Meetup to the Schedule" button.  A popup window will verify the submission.  Click the "X" in the upper-right-hand corner of the popup to close it. 2. Edit a Scheduled Meetup To edit a scheduled Meetup use the following procedure: a. Click the "Edit" button next to a previously entered Meetup on the "List of Scheduled Meetups (recall that you can only Start, Edit, and Delete Meetups you have entered)."  After clicking the "Edit" button the "Add//Edit Scheduled Meetups" display will be loaded with the original Meetup data. b. Edit the data as needed. c. Click the green button now labeled "Save Your Meetup Edits."  A popup window will verify the submission.  Click the "X" in the upper-right-hand corner of the popup to close it. 3. To return to the "Add" mode click the green button labeled "Clear/Reset Meetup Display." Finally, I have set up a new Forum titled "Inner Circle Meetups"  where Meetups can be announced and discussed. HH Tags:
