Posted: 12/8/2012 10:32:10 PM   I read this: Cholesterol lowering and inhibition of sterol absorption by Lactobacillus reuteri NCIMB 30242: a randomized controlled trial. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22990854 And bought this: http://www.iherb.com/Nature-s-Way-Primadophilus-Reuteri-Superior-Probiotic-90-Vcaps/4674 Seems like its worth a try. I couldn't find a pure Lactobacillus reuteri only products where it was combined with Lactobacillus rhamnosus. Female TYPers may be interested to learn that these 2 strains of lactobacillus have also been shown, with regular use, to colonize the female genital tract and provide a healthy environment, helping to prevent yeast infections.
