After several years of trying to control my intermittent afib/flutter with medication, without success, my EP has set me up for afib and aflutter ablation in mid July.

He wants me to start on warfarin June 1st. He says I can eat greens as long as I do so consistently. I'm thinking it might be easier to keep my K levels consistent by taking a K supplement than it would be to try and eat the same amount of greens every day.

Just wondering if anyone here has had experience warfarin and K supplementation.

I also just read that CoQ10 will impact bleeding time if taking warfarin. Plus things like curcumin, quercetin, fish oil, vit e and many others also seem to have an impact. I also read that vit E can slow down the healing time of heart cells.

What's abody to do...stop taking everything?

At age 71 and a calcium score of 1468 I am not eager to under go this technically challeging operation. However, because I am so symtomatic when in afib that I fell it is the only way I can get my life back.

Any thoughts or advice will be appreciated.

Ben
