I did not see anything posted about this finding:

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/06/science/iceman-had-brown-eyes-and-hair-and-was-lactose-intolerant.html?ref=science

Apparently, the Tyrolean iceman, who lived 5,300 years ago and was found embedded in ice and snow in the Italian Alps was lactose intolerant, had knee problems, type O blood, brown eyes and hair.  He died from an arrow wound.  However, and this is what I found interesting, he had significant indications of coronary artery disease which surprised researchers who thought that heart disease was primarily a modern-day issue.  I wonder, given where he was found, whether the Iceman had access to grains such as wheat.  If nothing else, it raises some questions about the Paleo diet.

That's my cousin.

A few years back I got one of the genetic tests that traces one's haplogroup through Mom's DNA.  I was Haplogroup K, as was Otzi.

I guess I now know there is a family history of heart disease.

Life wasn't easy and then Otzi had to go p*** off some guy who was a good shot with a bow and arrow.

I am guessing there was a love triangle.
