To All:

.At long last the new Virtual Clinical Trial (VCT) feature is online for beta testing.  Virtual Clinical Trials (VCTs) are not to be confused with rigorous scientific trials conducted in a laboratory setting; they are another useful method to track your heart health program in collaboration with other TYP Members.  

The VCT’s are not meant for something as simple polling (a feature soon to be released on the new Forum).  The VCT program was designed to provide a collaborative method of collecting data in a more structured manner than the way we currently record health data.    

Now we need suggestions for trial designs.  What would you like to explore?  The connection between A and B?  The effect of C on heart disease?    Any ideas for trials are welcome.  The Sample Trial Template that appears on the trial list, coupled with the help and instructions, provides useful insight into how we can utilize this tool.  Once we have a consensus on any  trial design, it can be rapidly implemented .   However, priority will be given to more "trial-like" data collections to investigate questions related to new or existing practices.
