I messed up with the labeling of my yogurt starters from a previous batch--and I’m wondering whether there is a way to tell whether a particular yogurt is l. reuteri or l. gasseri. (I have been culturing and reculturing l. gasseri and l. reuteri separately for months, and I accidentally labeled both of them as "l. gasseri." I’m trying to figure out which is which, and I’d really prefer not starting from scratch with the probiotics and getting the gross first batch.)

Right: the L. reuteri tends to be more sour, L. gasseri less sour and smoother.
