From my experience reflux is from the carbs. Once the carbs decrease then the reflux will settle down. Add more ghee and fats to keep you full so you can decrease carbs further. I would be wary of nuts until your gut heals more.

Any chance you are drinking with a straw? I gave up my water bottle with a straw and experience a decrease in GERD.
