I have Stage 2 kidney disease and some arthritis and joint pain at age 79 but am otherwise healthy and feeling even better 6 weeks into the Undoctored protocol. I would like to start taking collagen peptides for the arthritis as suggested in the Undoctored arthritis protocol but have seen cautions elsewhere about taking it if you have CKD.

is this because it simply adds to the daily protein load the kidneys deal with?  The Undoctored lifestyle is not especially high in protein so I’m hoping that this is not an issue for the recommended collagen consumption.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
