My first EP appointment is coming up and I just wanted any opinions on tests I could ask for or tests I should refuse. I did read here about not taking the one that is like exposing you to 6000 chest xrays where they inject the dye. I’m really hoping I don’t need to be on medications. Any advise offered is appreciated. I was just diagnosed with paroxysmal a-fib with RVR. It happened almost 3 weeks ago and lasted 45 minutes. I’ve had palpitations for years and on several occasions wore different monitors and was told they were benign pvcs.

Also wondering if I should request a calcium score test now.
