I have been suffering from what was diagnosed as atrial fibrillation for some years. I am on sotalol(80mg) twice daily and blood thinner eliquis(apixaban) 5mg twice daily to prevent a stroke. I am also on aspirin for blocked arteries. I have been following the wheat belly lifestyle for 5 years. I have also been off fructose for 7 years. I have read that Coq10 may be beneficial for atrial fib and also read that hawthorn may help. My question is....has anyone tried these for af and if so did they help? Also a big concern with any drug, prescription or natural is do they interact negatively with the prescription drugs one is taking especially blood thinners. I am 74 years of age and exercise regularly. I find that a interval session on the rower stops the afib episode. Would love to hear from someone about the above. I have been taking heavy doses of magnesium for quite some time. Dr Davis’ magnesium water, Dr Deans remag and malate. Am i taking too much?

I note the Heart Math program starts at $129 but can’t find any app called Heart Rate.  I am assuming the Heart Math program is a relaxation type program?  Thanks for any direction.

I was under the impression too much magnesium resulted in diarrhea and not to worry about taking too much.

I also thought that the only problem with taking too much magnesium was diarrhoea. However I need to know if there are any dangerous side effects from taking too much.

it is not the magnesium but the carrier like citrate is one that is a "bad actor" vs say Malate
