Posted: 11/14/2016 5:29:22 AM   Hi! All, I was wandering does, light therapy produces vitamin D. The reason, I am asking this question is because at the moment I am starting to lose a bit of weight with the diet and I have been very religious with all the foods and the supplements. But like Dr. D mentioned that during the weight loss period we may feel a little off due to the lack of serotonin and therefore he suggested 5HTP. I am not really a fan of 5-HTP but in the past I tried light therapy which also seems to improves mood quite a lot so I was thinking this time I will use the light therapy instead of 5HTP with the low mood. However, I was wandering if I do that should cut down on my Vitamin D intake? Basically, does light therapy affect Vitamin D level or simply the serotonin level? Thanks in advance. Tags:
