Posted: 1/30/2014 5:42:28 PM   My results are less than 50%.   Apparently they don't tell you the exact measure. I'm scheduled to have one every 2 years.   My exercise ecg was not normal but my echo cardiogram looked good...slight mitral regurgitation but no mitral prolapse ( which I was told I had) and estimated ejection fraction of 60. What are your thoughts on this tool of monitoring soft plaque...my new cardiologist tells me I worry too much...definitely don't like that comment. He doesn't talk much so I ask questions...he calls that "worry". It's my "worry" that drove me to find out I had heart disease in the first place when my internist said I'd be very unlikely to have it...don't worry.  It was my "worry" that caused me to to opt for physical therapy instead of back surgery in spite of the neurosurgeons saying I absolutely had to have surgery. That was 15 years ago and I haven't had a problem since.. My "worry" when it comes to my health is the healthiest thing I do.  I don't know if my cardiologist and I are a match. Tags:

Posted: 1/31/2014 5:23:39 PM Back to Top   When I had my carotid ultrasound, they told me the %blockage was about 30%.  Not good, not awful.  Based on that, I think you need clarification of what the <50% means. Linda Tags:
